SERVICES
Outpatient Services
Sometimes individuals and families need emotional or psychiatric support. If that is true for you or your family, please know that the professionals of Advanced Psychological and Counseling Services maintain the care options and experts to help.
With a team of skilled psychiatrists, licensed psychologists and licensed social workers, APCS assists individuals and families through psychiatric evaluations, medication management and individual and family therapy – all on an outpatient basis. Keep in mind, our professionals are trained to help children, adolescents and adults and are available for day and evening appointments.
Custody Mediation
The stresses of divorce and custody disputes are very often quite traumatic for both the divorcing parents and the children involved. What’s more, the entire situation can be costly and time-consuming – which only leads to more stress and discord among an already fractured group.
As an alternative, APCS offers a custody mediation service so divorcing parents can reach agreement on custody issues. As part of the service, a mediator works with the couple and the children to find a reasonable solution.
Unlike a judge, the mediator does not impose a decision on the parents. Instead, he or she helps parents reach a fair and reasonable agreement that focuses on what is in the best interests of their children.
Employee Assistance Program
It’s true that employees sometimes have serious personal problems that greatly affect their work – and may even put them at risk. That’s where an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) can help.
The Employee Assistance Program offered by Advanced Psychological and Counseling Services offer confidential, professional counseling to employees experiencing substance abuse; as well as psychological, martial, family, financial, emotional, legal and other problems that may affect work performance.
Providing established EAP programs for many local businesses, APCS also makes recommendations for drug testing, policy development and wellness training.
It’s a fact that EAP services help to increase productivity, reduce absenteeism, reduce workplace accidents and ensure appropriate usage of health care benefits. Isn’t that what you want for your employees?
