APCS's Anger Management Group consists of eight sessions that help kids learn about anger and how to cope with it. Kids will learn what anger is, what it feels like, and how to calm down and relax. Each session includes activities, games, and discussions that will help kids to better control their anger. The goal of the program is to help children and adolescents to effectively redirect their anger in appropriate ways and better understand that anger is a common feeling in everyone's life. The Anger Management Group is hosted by Robert Bogdan, MSW, a licensed clinical social worker at APCS. He has extensive experience working with children and adolescents who have difficulty controlling their anger. If you are interested in learning more about this group, please call Advanced Psychological and Counseling Services at 552-3764.
